I don't know about you, but I will never, ever give
up on living my dreams as a professional motivational
speaker and author. I am willing to risk everything I have
achieved in order to motivate and inspire others to find
their passion and path in life.
Jack Zufelt, author of the book, DNA for Success coined the
term "conquering force." These two words have been around
for quite some time, however he expanded on it and by
reading this article you may consider integrating it into
your daily life.
I want you to imagine you're on a surf board negotiating a
pipeline. What is a pipeline you might ask?
I'm glad you asked, I'll explain. A pipeline is a huge wave
of water that can be upwards of three to four stories tall
and people surf between floors.
In other words, one would have to have the conquering force
within to be able to negotiate the water above and
below them. A great surfer will never give up trying to
find the biggest wave they can find and ride the pipeline
in order to be able to say they conquered it.
In essence, the conquering force resides within us and
everyone of us have it. Think about the time you had a
deadline at work, financial crisis, or health challenges.
At certain times in your life, you're going to we encounter
pipelines, the only difference between you and a surfer is
a great volume of ocean water.
The bottom line, surfers riding the pipeline have
learned to negotiate and or overcome his or her fears of
challenging the largest wave they can find. Likewise you I
can do the exact same thing except the challenges are
slightly different.
Surf's up dude and dudettes, let's hang 10 for old times
sake and go after the pipelines in our life. Don't delay,
grab your surf board and ride like you've done it your
entire life.
